Last night, the mighty USC Trojans fell to an Oregon State Badgers team that was blown out by Penn State 45-14. Nobody but the media and USC themselves were surprised.
Hey, Pete Carroll, I’ve got a word of advice. You’ve had the undisputed top recruiting classes for several years now. Surround yourself with quality assistant coaches, and such things won’t happen.
Or, is it a case of two many chiefs? All these top recruits are used to being the center of attention. Perhaps they can’t handle it when they’re just another player on the roster.
Anyways, I predict that USC blows out their next several Pac 10 opponents. The media will start talking about how they’re the best one loss team in history, and how they should definitely play for the National Championship.
