Arizona Wildcats vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

The Holiday Bowl has a reputation for shootouts, but the 2009 game will likely be a struggle dominated by defense.
TV coverage will certainly begin with a lesson in how to pronounce the name of one Nebraska defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh. Finding him on the field won’t be hard, however. He’ll be the one who looks like a grown man surrounded by junior high school kids.
And he’ll probably have an iron grip on the ball carrier.
Arizona has a questionable offense. Suh and the Nebraska defense are going to make them look silly. I would be amazed if the Wildcats got into double digits on points.
On the other side of the ball, Nebraska’s offense has been a weakness all season. They are incapable of moving the ball when they need to. Or any other time for that matter. Arizona’s defense is good, but not great, and will keep Nebraska from putting a sustained drive together. The Cornhuskers best chances of scoring a touchdown may come on defense.
Look for Nebraska to win a defensive struggle, 10-3.
