I’ve got a good friend names Steve. After growing up in San Antonio, he went to school at Duke. He’s a calm, quiet-spoken fellow, until you get him talking about Duke basketball.
He instantly turns into a rapid Duke fan. It must be something they put in the water there.

I’ll update this list as additional previews come in today.
There has been considerable gnashing of teeth over the draw of Duke in the second round. Unfortunately, this is what happens with you’re a seventh seed.
Of the second seeds, however, Duke is about as good as it gets for Texas. Their inside game is relatively weak, which could lead to a monster of a game for Dexter Pittman.
Duke doesn’t make many mistakes, however. Texas will need to play one of their most consistent games of the season to still be around in the closing minutes.
We also can’t be one dimensional. We need good games from both Pittman and Abrams. Some performance at point guard would certainly help.
I’m not ready to predict a win by Texas, but I won’t be surprised if it happens.
