Dallas Cowboys to cut Terrell Owens

While there is no official word yet, ESPN and Fox News reported late last night that the Dallas Cowboys are going to cut Wide Receiver and Chief Derision Officer Terrell Owens. Good. If I want drama, I’ll watch American Idol.

Five Longhorns Headed to NFL Combine

The NFL has extended invitations to wide receiver Quan Cosby, defensive tackle Roy Miller, running back Chris Ogbonnaya, defensive end Brian Orakpo and corner back Ryan Palmer to participate in the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine. The Combine is a week long showcase that occurs every February in Indianapolis. College football players will perform physical and mental tests for coaches, GMs and scouts of the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys Still in the Playoff Hunt

Despite the best efforts of the owner, the coaching staff, and the players, the Dallas Cowboys may yet find a back door into the playoffs. After last night’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens, where the Cowboys defense completely collapsed in the closing minutes, the playoff hopes looked quite bleak.

Photoblog: Giants vs. Cowboys Game Photos, Part One

As I posted previously, we were on the second row of the upper deck, so we had a great view.

Unfortunately, much of the view was taken up by the four, um, “ladies” in front of us. I’m fairly confident that they were all ex-strippers, and I suspect that they might have looked good at some point in the 1980′s. Let’s just say they were past their prime.

Photoblog: Giants vs. Cowboys Pregame

This past weekend, I attended my first NFL game, and more importantly, my first Dallas Cowboys game. The wife bought me a pair of tickets for my birthday a few months back, and I was nice enough to bring her with me.

To say it was a different environment from a Longhorn game is a huge understatement. While there is certainly drinking going on before (and during) a college game, the number of truly smashed fans is relatively small.…

Time for the Cowboys to Dig Deep

By all accounts, the game tonight between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys shouldn’t even be close. New York is the defending Superbowl Champion, and has quite possibly been playing even better ball this season.
