Joe Biden not Stepping Down
There is a rumor floating around that Biden will be stepping down for health reasons, to be replaced by Hillary Clinton. Sorry, folks, it’s not going to happen.
Not that I wouldn’t like to see at least part of that become reality. I feel the Biden appointment was the first truly disappointing move on Obama’s part. In a campaign of supposed change, choosing such a warmed over Washington insider as Biden was a poor choice. And the libertarian in me …
Focus on the top of the ticket, Barack!
All Obama needs to do is focus on McCain and his message, and he’ll have a cakewalk into the Whitehouse. Instead, he’s needlessly spending time talking about Sarah Palin, and having his words turned back on him. (Note: By no means am I suggesting that Obama was suggesting that Palin is a pig, but he’s walking in a minefield every time he talks about her.)
