Haha, I agree Brian! The announcers weren’t the best, kind of annoying…and even more annoying when the camera would miss a play. We tried putting it on mute and listening to Craig Way on the radio but we couldn’t get it synced. The best part was when he said we needed to get in field goal range. Don and I looked at each other both thinking, did he really just say that?!

I’m planning on posting about the Gator Bowl specifically tomorrow, but the net-net is that I think Pelini has the Huskers headed in the right direction. You guys have been wondering in the wilderness an awful long time, but I think the homeland is in sight.

They are not tearing down the Cotton Bowl Stadium after this game or in the near future. They just completed a $50 million plus renovation. True, The Cotton Bowl game will move to Jere’s stadium, thanks to Laura Miller, but the stadium will stand.
Just wanted you to have the true facts.

And I’m sure that you won’t find anything on the Reggie Bush thing, if, in fact, your even look. After all, Oklahoma’s the only college football power to violate the rules and USC is above reproach, right? What a hypocrite you are….

Interesting question. I’ll do some checking.

I don’t follow USC as closely as OU (being a Big 12 sort of guy and all), and don’t really know about any recruiting violations beyond the Reggie Bush thing. And given the NCAA’s reluctance to investigate that one, I don’t think I’ll find much.
