I finally got around to seeing the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday. While it’s rather formulaic for a rocker biopic, Rami Malek’s performance and the non-stop awesome music, make for a heck of a good time.

I saw Captain America: Civi War on Monday, so I’m now up to date on the movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As of this moment, here is how I rank the thirteen movies, from worst to best.
13) The Incredible Hulk
This movie was just bad. Contrived and boring. It’s a good thing Iron Man had come out a month or so before it to show what the MCU potential way.
I’ve seen most of the eighteen movies she profiles, although I somehow missed Cave Dwellers, both as itself and its MST3K episode. In any case, her rational for each pick is well reasoned.
Still, the top three fantasy movies from the ’80s are clearly:
3) Dragonslayer
2) Highlander
1) The Princess Bride
Technically, these are the ten best 2014 movies that I saw. If your favorite isn’t on the list, I probably didn’t see it.
Or maybe I just thought it sucked.

With everyone getting on the Rewrite a Fairy Tale bandwagon that Wicked started, this idea seems a bit played. Still, an entertaining, if predictable, movie.
