Reacting to the continued growth of cell phone cameras, Congress has passed a bill providing for fines and jail time for anyone who sneaks pictures of others in various states of undress.

Rob Galbraith reports on a big price drop on the Nikon D2H. That's not surprising given that it is only 4MP's. Still a nifty little camera.

Thom Hogan takes a look at Nikon's service experience. His review is fairly mixed. I just got my D100 back from Nikon a week or so ago, and everything went great. It cost about what they predicted and took about as long as they predicted. No complaints...

Popular Photography Magazine has an article on digital photography file formats.

Here's Taylor, a model from Pflugerville, Texas (a town just north of Austin). This was taken in the studio in October.

The Luminous Landscape looks at the Epson P-2000. I own the Adorama private labeled digital wallet, and like all other such devices, the battery life was horrible. Even when using the additional external battery, I would be lucky to get two of my 1GB cards copied over before the drive crapped out. It works fine as long as it is plugged in, though, so I used it mostly when traveling, as a remote storage system. If this new Epson device is as good as TLL suggests, then I will probably get one. But at five bills, I'll probably wait until next year sometime and see if the price comes down.

Steve's Digicams has reviews of the Pentax Optio MX4 and the Pentax Optio SV.
